Project Scope


Jewish Federation of the Greater East Bay short for “JFED”, founded in 1981 is one of the most established Judaism foundations in California. After decades of serving the Bay Area community, Judaism as a religion and culture was losing its relevancy to the younger demographics . JFED approached us for a new brand image better targets the Jewish teens and young adults.

Branding & Website


Upon lots of research and reading about the religion, I was very inspired by the Judaism's holy blue color and the simple shape of the Star of David. As a branding exploration, I deconstructed the Star of David into a hexagon and 6 angles, and used those elements as webpage leads.

Annual Report


I want readers to get a sense of calm and family-oriented welcome vibes when they read this annual report. The layout, typography and color theme are inspired by the holy blue color, the book binding uses red thread borrowed from the Kabbala bracelet.
